Making films for me has always been about sharing the true experience of hunting through my eyes. That spans far past the point of a kill. It's about time well spent with loved ones, the beauty of Mother Nature, the highs and lows, as well as immersing yourself in the process.  I want those who watch to feel like they're with me in the mountains, grinding it out day to day. 

These adventures span from the low deserts of Arizona to the high country of Colorado. Most of my hunts are backpack hunts. And if you asked me what weapon I'd hunt with the rest of my life, it'd be a bow, but I do sprinkle some rifle hunts in throughout the year. Black bear hunting is among my favorite with Coues deer being a close second. I also enjoy mule deer, elk, turkey, pronghorn, and whatever other tags I can get my hands on!

In 2025 I backpacked into some absolutely wicked country on a black bear hunt. The film Heart follows me throughout this adventure and explores the balance between parenthood and passion. A both mentally physically draining ride from front to back.

Sometimes things go your way, and other times they just don't. In the fall of 2025, I was lucky enough to hit the hills with a late-season archery elk tag in Arizona. This was a truck camp type of hunt in the high desert of my home state. It wasn't all peaches and rainbows. In fact, it was far from it. This reflects the name of this film, Against the Odds. It truly was. Relentless rain and hunting pressure made for a difficult hunt, but with persistence, things came together.

If you've never spent any time above treeline hunting mule deer with a bow, I highly recommend it. It's one of the ultimate adventure hunts we have in the lower 48. Absolute takes you along for the ride on a solo backpack hunt I did with my bow in the high country. It served as a reminder of how small we are.  How age catches up with us. And how much the mountains don't care about you. The mountains are absolute. I am not.

Coues deer are arguably the hardest animal to spot and stalk with a bow and the film Fourteen is a dang good example of that. This film dives into the cherished relationship I have with my younger brother, how we started hunting together, and shows the difficulty of arrowing a big Arizona coues buck with a bow during the rut in January.
