Fall is officially here, and if you’re anything like me, you’re getting hit with the warm and fuzzies. Hopefully, the fuzzies are in the form of big mule deer antlers! This new film of mine may not be a mule deer film, but I am super proud of it. Dillon Flint and I backpacked into some of the most rugged country in the lower 48 this past spring and what we got out of it was “The Most.”

This film represents a 3-year journey really. I started Idaho bear hunting in the spring 3 years back and have been hooked ever since. The first year I missed a great bear. The second year I hit a bear and couldn’t find it. You know what they say though. Third time is a charm and this is no exception.

It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

Sir Edmond Hillary

Aside from my personal journey hunting bears in Idaho, I wanted to communicate something else through this film. It’s titled “The Most” because I truly believe that the most challenging pursuits offer up the most potent rewards. There are way easier ways to hunt black bears in North America, but this way of backpacking and living in the dirt does it for me. It’s the most rewarding whether I shoot a bear or not. And it’s a constant reminder that great results require great effort. If this stuff were easy, I wouldn’t do it with as much passion.

Vortex Optics Giveaway!

Something else I need to lay out here is I’m also hosting a giveaway for the new Vortex Optics 13-39×56 Mini Razor Spotting Scope. This giveaway is being run through this film. You’ll see a snippet of me in the beginning explaining the details. In short, leave a comment on the film and tell me the hunt you think this spotter would come in handy the most on. The winner will be picked on September 15, 2023.

So, without more rambling, I really hope you enjoy this film. If you like it, I’d really appreciate if you SUBSCRIBED to the channel. Thanks so much. This is “The Most.”
